Committed to fostering the vitality of contemporary artists and publishers, E/AB will announce the recipient of the first Artist Award on Saturday, October 27. The cash prize will be awarded to an emerging artist working in print by a jury of curators, collectors and allied professionals. With the aim of openly sharing ideas and information between producers and patrons, E/AB will host two public conversations during the fair:

"We are honored and excited to present the 20th edition of the E/AB Fair, and continue to forge ahead with new energy and ideas. This milestone anniversary speaks to the importance of fostering new and contemporary achievements in the art of print. We are proud to continue the tradition of complimentary admission over the fair weekend. At a time when the world seems to be contracting, it is a privilege to be able to openly share new work and new ideas with the public." explains Dusica Kirjakovic, Executive Director, Lower East Side Printshop.
